How to File a Copyright Complaint
Your notice must include:
- Identification of the copyrighted work that you claim has been infringed.
- Identification of the material on Find Coromandel that you believe is infringing, with enough detail for us to locate it (e.g., the URL of the listing).
- A statement that you have a good faith belief that the disputed use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- Your contact details (name, address, telephone, and email).
- A statement made under penalty of perjury that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act on their behalf.

What Happens Next
- Upon receiving a valid complaint, we will review it and may remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material.
- We may notify the user who uploaded the material so they have an opportunity to respond.
- If appropriate, repeat offenders may have their accounts suspended or terminated.
Counter-Notice (If You Believe Material Was Removed in Error)
If your material was removed and you believe this was a mistake or misidentification, you may submit a written counter-notice to us. Your counter-notice must include:
- Identification of the material that has been removed or disabled and the location where it appeared.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you believe the material was removed due to mistake or misidentification.
- Your contact details (name, address, telephone, and email).
- A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the New Zealand courts for resolving disputes.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
If we receive a valid counter-notice, we may restore the material unless the original complainant seeks a court order to block the content.
